An online prize for digital and media art, entered with a link and a description, so there is nothing to ship and nowhere to travel. Read the prize list closely: one Grand Prize of JPY 50,000, and up to 35 further prizes that are certificates only.
Run by Aion Laboratory, the digital art division of Ise-Shima Art Company in Japan. Entries are judged by Aion Laboratory members; individual judges are not named on the prize page. Upload the work to a file-hosting or video service, then submit the link and a description through the organiser's form. Results on 5 May 2027; winners' websites or social links are published with their awards. You keep copyright; entering lets the organiser show and share the work on its website and in promotional material. A clear description with year, medium and duration is half the entry here.
Who can apply
Any age and nationality, alone or as a collaboration. Previously exhibited or awarded works may be entered. AI-assisted work is accepted with an explanation of how AI was used; work made solely by AI is not.
Fee to apply
JPY 3,000 entry fee per work, non-refundable. Each further work is a separate entry and fee.
