A long-running open-entry UK prize with GBP 10,000 for the main award, a group exhibition and editorial coverage. It charges per entry and shortlists heavily, so the fee is the thing to weigh.

Main Prize GBP 10,000, group exhibition, editorial coverage and a website profile. Emerging Prize GBP 1,000 for students and recent graduates. Shortlisted artists exhibit; longlisted artists get a website profile. Late entry window 12-18 October 2026 at the higher fee.

Who can apply

Any discipline, any theme, no size restriction. Collaborative and previously exhibited work allowed; work made in the last three years preferred. The separate Emerging Prize is for students and graduates of the last three years.

Fee

GBP 25 per entry covering two works; GBP 35 for late entries between 12 and 18 October 2026.
