The main Czech contemporary art award, and it takes open applications rather than nominations. No age limit, no citizenship requirement and no art degree needed — only that you live or work in the country.

Three laureates chosen by an independent international jury of six. Each receives a CZK 60,000 budget for new work, an artist fee and a year-round stipend, curatorial and production support, and an exhibition at PLATO Ostrava, the Moravian Gallery in Brno or the National Gallery Prague. Deadline 23:59.

Who can apply

Artists, duos and collectives living or working in the Czech Republic. Czech citizenship is not required, formal art education is not required, and the age limit of 35 was abolished in 2024.
